Meet Sam. When you're on a job, in a meeting or already on another call, Sam picks up: knows your business, answers the caller's questions, takes a proper message, and puts urgent callers through to your team. By the time you're free, the transcript, the summary and the to-do are already in your dashboard.
30 days free. No card needed. Keep your number and your carrier.
Why a receptionist
Most callers hang up on voicemail. The ones who leave a message leave half of one. Sam answers like a member of your team: greets them by your business name, answers the questions you've already answered a hundred times, gets the name, the number, the address and the details, and asks the questions you'd ask yourself. The caller feels looked after. You get a message you can actually act on.
How a call goes
Your phone rings as normal. Sam takes over only when you don't pick up, or you're already on a call.
In the real world
You're halfway through a job and your hands are full. A new customer calls. It rings out.
Sam picks up, tells them you're on a job, asks what they need and where, gets their number, and says you'll call back.
You finish what you're doing. The message is waiting, with the address and the job written out, and a to-do to call them back.
You're in a meeting with a client. Another client calls. You let it go.
Sam answers, recognises them as an existing customer, hears them out, and because they say it's urgent, puts them straight through to your colleague on Green Weka.
Your meeting isn't interrupted. The caller got a human. And the whole thing is in your dashboard, transcribed and summarized.
It's 9 pm on a Sunday. Someone found you online and calls anyway.
Sam tells them your hours, answers the two questions they had about what you do and where you cover, and takes their details for a callback on Monday.
Monday morning, it's the first thing in your briefing. A lead you'd otherwise never have known about.
The caller says: "Thanks, that's really helpful."
And means it.
Is this a new or existing job?
Which property?
Is anyone in danger? The answers come through in the message.

What Sam knows
The receptionist profile lives in your Green Weka dashboard, next to your voicemail settings. Fill in as much or as little as you like: the more Sam knows, the more callers get answered on the spot instead of waiting for a callback.
Have a website? Paste the address and Sam fills most of the form from it. You just check it and fix anything that's changed.
Every field is plain language. No scripts to write, no decision trees, no training course.
Setup guide
Six steps. We'll walk you through it personally if you'd rather.
Head to greenweka.com/plans. 30 days free. No card needed. We onboard every customer personally, and your calls start being captured straight away.
It's where your voicemail settings live. You'll see a switch: Voicemail or Receptionist. Works the same in the iOS and Android apps.
Paste your website address and let Sam fill in the form, or type it in yourself. Business name is the only field that's required to get going.
Keep Sam or pick your own. Pick a voice you like. Write the first thing callers will hear, or keep ours.
Press Try your receptionist and have a conversation with Sam right there in your browser or app. Ask the awkward questions. Nothing is saved from a test call.
Move the switch from Voicemail to Receptionist. From now on, any call you don't answer gets Sam. Change your mind any time; voicemail is one flip away.

Common questions
Only the ones you miss. Your phone rings first, for as long as you choose. Sam picks up when you don't answer, or when you're already on another call. If you'd rather, you can keep voicemail on and turn Sam on only when you're away.
Not yet. Sam will take the caller's preferred time and note it in the message, and it appears in your calendar as a tentative "Requested" event for you to confirm. Booking straight into your calendar is on the way.
Anyone on Green Weka: a colleague, a business partner, an office manager. You choose the person by their number and set the rule (whenever asked, urgent only, or never). The caller's own number shows on the colleague's phone, so they know who's calling before they pick up.
Sam says so and takes a message rather than guessing. You can also list topics Sam should never discuss, such as pricing or invoices, and Sam will take a message on those every time.
No. Sam uses natural voices, understands interruptions, and follows the conversation rather than a script. Try a test call from your dashboard and judge for yourself before any caller hears it.
Anywhere Green Weka works: New Zealand, Australia and the United States today, with more on the way. Sam speaks English and can be given a voice that suits your market.
Fifteen minutes. We'll set up a receptionist for your business on the call, ring it together, and show you where the message lands. No slides.
